I know what it feels like to do all the “right” things and still feel like nothing is working.

To feel stuck in the cycle of trying again on Monday, eating “well” all week, and still wondering why your energy is low, your clothes feel tighter, and the weight keeps creeping back on.

I also know how easy it is to put yourself at the bottom of the list when life is full. Work, family, hormones, stress, the mental load of keeping everything moving. It adds up.

That was me too.

I’m Nicky, founder of Wright Balance Nutrition, and I created this business to help women cut through the noise, stop starting over, and build a healthier way of eating that actually works in real life.

After years of yo-yo dieting, I stopped chasing quick fixes and started learning what actually works. I trained in evidence-based nutrition, behaviour change and wellness coaching, changed how I supported my body, and lost 7 stone in a way that was realistic, sustainable and built to last.

Now I help other women do the same.

Not through restriction, rigid plans or guilt.
But through practical nutrition, realistic routines and supportive coaching that fits around real life.

My Approach

My approach is rooted in evidence, but built for real life.

That means no extremes, no fads, and no one-size-fits-all plans.

Instead, we focus on the things that make the biggest difference:

  • balanced, realistic nutrition

  • habits that are actually sustainable

  • better energy, better routine and better consistency

  • understanding hunger, stress and behaviour

  • building a healthier relationship with food

This is not about perfection.

It’s about helping you feel better in your body, more confident in your choices, and more in control of your health. All in a way that feels manageable and sustainable.

My work is grounded in evidence-based nutrition and behaviour change coaching.

I am a registered member of the Complementary Medical Association and my training includes:

  • Nutrition Coach Academy, Amanda Hamilton

  • Wellness Coach Academy, Amanda Hamilton

  • AfN Certified Advanced Nutrition Essentials for Fitness & Leisure

  • Level 4 RSPH Award in Nutrition

  • Level 5 Award in Advanced Nutrient Metabolism

I combine professional training with lived experience, which means my coaching is both evidence-based and realistic.

I don’t just understand the theory. I understand what it takes to make it work in real life.
